When she was talking about her Granny she was dead Oirish. Then for the rest of the programme she was if anything a bit Estuary. Where's she from?

And doesn't she remind you a bit of the BBC's Nick Robinson???

Agree on the accent. She looks like Olive from On the Busses.

I recognise her face but cant think where I met her, it was a work type thing but I'm not in business, maybe a conference? My impression was "dozy":o she comes across ok on the show though.
Single Mum with no education is a lot of rubbish, her family are quite wealthy and she's back and forth a lot.

The accent is very strange as it is either 100% Irish or 100% English in some strange switching pattern.

Most of my relatives who live in England have a kind of hybrid where they have not really lost their Irish accent but it is a consistent mix. Like her I was born in UK till 5 and grew up in Ireland. My accent is very neutral as I would expect hers to be but the switching thing is downright weird.

She reminds me of something. Can't place it and anyway she is denying her Irish roots as her family is in a bit of trouble with the law and fled back there(allegedly).

Margaret noticed it too - she mentioned it in her Telegraph blog.
