Is there anyone including trained soldiers, SAS, Marines, Cage Fighters etc that could fight a Shaolin Monk and win?

I'm saying no.

Steven Segal the real deal when it comes to fighting? You sure about that. I do like his films, especially some of his older films. Not so much his newer films. I always his type of spastic kung fu, was for film only...not much use in real life.

I reckon Jackie Chan could kick a shaolin monks ass...however I reckon he is one, or at least trained with them for some time???.

Kelly LeBrock seemed to think so and she had the injuries to prove it.

No but he studied at the Peking Opera along with Sammo Hung and Yuen Baio.

I knew he studies at the peking opera as a child. Wasnt sure if he then went on to do other training with any other group.

In that case Jackie Chan could kick a shaolin monks ass.

    Yuen Baio...vastly underrated.

You've been watching too many movies OP and guess what Bruce Lee wasn't the hardest man on earth either.

Karate is an art as much as it is form of self defense, the idea that martial artist (especially real oriental ones like Shoalin Monks) are amazing fighters comes from Hollywood mainly.

Sad fact is most 'karate' based fighters in UFC get beaten.

There was a TV series a little while ago comparing various fighters against each other eg Mafia against Ninja warriors. I didn't see enough of the programmes to see who won overall, but some of the examples were very interesting.

Everyone gets beaten in Mixed Martial Arts. People get old and the temptation to take too many fights is strong. Look at Fedor.

    Deadliest warrior :D

I was just looking that up to see if they did shaolin monks and they did! Shaolin Vs Maori - the shaolin just edged it.

My favourite has to be Taliban Vs IRA

The IRA won - woo!!!! :o
