    Cool! Never really thought of Eccleston as a Lennon lookalike, though, but I guess its the acting that really counts!

    First time those two will be on screen together since a certain episode in 2005 :D

    oh no, well obviously that makes him totally unsuitable for the role, because no one ever plays the part of someone a few years younger....Dawsons Creek for example never used actors in their 20's to play teenagers! :p;)

    Indeed , Michael J Fox was nearer 30 when he played the teenage Marty McFly in the Back To The Future movies.

    When it said Doctor Who to play John Lennon, I naturally assumed it was Paul Mcgann, because he does look a bit like him.

    And he was about 900 years younger than the Doctor, so it evens out eventually. ;)
