I have to say I find him awkward, cringey, delusional and fake. Is he the "celebrity" version of Steven Goode?

No he is an accomplished dancer with a beautiful wife and he is a grown up and not a whingeing blubbing inadequate control freak like Steven.

    Steven, thankfully, is quite unique.

Pompous twit - yes. Along with David and Rikki.
He has many mil;es to go before he becomes anywhere near as desperate and annoying as Steven.

yes, he's very like Benedict but not in Steve the signinficants division, who is a fully-fledged, world-class tosser , you'll have to go through a lot of Big Brothers to find someone as deluded and self-important as the bug-eyed bellend from Bushey

That's more like it to be fair - I'd actually forgotten that Andrew Stone existed :)

No not at all. James acknowledges that he's cocky and has a bad temper and that's why a lot of people aren't keen on him. Steven still thinks he's perfect and fails to see how anybody can genuinely dislike him.

Remind me - was he a swarthy teacher and porn performer?

James is unlike Steven in that he will not be shedding any tears over dear departed housemates that he has known for five minutes. I don't expect him to simulate sex and then declare himself to be "dirty people!", (but I could be wrong).

    Quite possibly.

He's also promoted himself to the position of official mouthpiece for the Housemates - rather like Steven did.

james is a massive prat with a huge ego.

and he doesn't mind miming bumsex with them, though obviouslly as a red-blooded male and most definitely 100% heterosexual;-) the real thing he finds utterly repellant and if they ever had thoughts like that he'd say "NO!" :p

I agree. Just because he argued with the God Gary, everyone seems to have taken against James. I like him and he was really lovely when I met him last November.

I'd just managed to forget Steven as he has not been on BBOTs recently. I must admit I do see some similarities particularly his arrogant method of addressing HMs, and his aggressive and demonstrative way he deals with arguments. I hope he does not stay long nor David, a very cruel and ignorant man. They both should be taken to task by BB for the way the handled Gary.

I like this idea. I'm not a fan of Steven, but I am a fan of people 'like' Steven being in reality shows. I've missed that freaky, owl-haired, nipple monster. James has certainly got a touch of the Goode, lets see if Big Brother will reveal that further as the pressure mounts.
