In and all alone. Calm before ther storm as my wife and daughter return on Sunday. Been away three weeks.

Few cans of cider but not after midnight as going tee-total for 2011.

Doubt there'll be anything to say. :D

No doubt it'll be "these kitchen surfaces are filthy" and "what did you fry? I told you I hate frying, look at all the grease on the cooker"  Not forgetting "why are the fridge and freezer empty?"

Staying in as always, don't really celebrate the new year, not since I was 16/17 anyway.

I'm out, but to be honest I wouldn't have minded staying in this year. Not that I'm complaining.

It's going to be a quiet one in for us.

I feel a wee bit guilty knowing that people travel great distances to spend Hogmanay in Edinburgh and we're only a short walk from Prince Street, but none of our close friends live locally now, so it would just be the pair of us out.

And it's too damn to be standing around on a street!

    Of course not! :o

But Hogmanay is a party night and you really need more than a couple to enjoy it properly.

    Or something like that! :D

Had plans to go out, but came down with this bloody heavy cold on Boxing Day and after clearing a little, it's come back today, so stuck in feeling sorry for myself. :( Least I've saved money and will enjoy spending it when I'm feeling better and got nights out planned for January!
