Grandstand is a really ugly looking court, also suprised it doesn't have hawkeye [or whatever it's called in USA]
Edit, they do have chase review.

I guess this is the difference as a 15yr old, no fear at all and going for every shot. Domi just about manages to hold serve to go 4-4 in the final set. ESPN USA are streaming it now.

    3 MPs Bellis!!!

Completely dictating the play at the end of this match.

And she only needs one, Domi is out!!!

What on Earth can you say about that Cibulkova loss. Just... shocking.

Can anyone see Townsend giving Serena some trouble later? I've never seen her play but going on what I've heard she hits the ball pretty hard. Serena could be nervous also.

Don't really see it, she's got immense power, but Serena will hit so many winners.

    Keys looking impressive again here.

There are a lot of good American women about at the moment. Pity their men are not doing as well.

Has Federer ever been injured, I mean he would have had some niggles certainly, but I can't recall him being out due to injury for any sustained amount of time.

He really is a remarkable sportsman.

Bellis said she intends to give up the $60,000 second-round payday in order to maintain her amateur status and keep her options open for college.

Hope we don't lose her to US College tennis.

I wonder if Hewitt can pull off a huge upset. Berdy is vulnerable in the early rounds.

Should be interesting, looking forward to it :)

Poor Heather! :( - I didn't see it, but it sounds like a pasting :(

For me Berdych has been a big disappointment lately. After the Wimbledon final loss, I thought he'd be a regular feature in the last stages of more Slams but h's just regressed as far as I can tell.

I know he's still top ten but that's more to do with the lack of quality around him than his own performances in my view.

On the upside, he's good value on Twitter!:D

Hi Elca.:) Sadly it was pretty horrific to watch.:(

Are you supporting Andy in the absence of our boy? I'm pretty much picking players in individual matches. I miss Rafa but this is so much easier on the old heart!:D

Would love to see that. However I don't think I've ever seen Hewitt play as badly as he did last week - can't remember his opponent . I hope that was a one off and not a sign of things to come.

Love watching her play. That 2nd set was so intense.
Definitely my favourite female player. Even her shrieking doesn't bother me which is weird as I can't stand watching Maria.
