It's not perfect but it's great if you want something basic

There was some uncertainty whether Windows 10 will be a full update.

However, it is now looking like it will be a full implementation

You can get better spec tablets but for £49.99 this is superb value. You need to enter jj446qqej as a discount code,

The new raspberry pi @ £25 will be able to handle windows 10 allegedly but to use it you will have to add items e.g. £5 for a case, £10 for a wifi dongle, £10 for mouse and keyboard, £5 for a power supply etc., and then you can see £49.99 makes this the cheapest PC in the UK.

You can also get the Xbox One console and a HP Stream 7 Signature Edition (aka no nasty bloatware) for £329.99.

Existing tablets with W8.1 will get full W10 including desktop, even if it must be miniature on 7" screen.

Should say enter 'promo code' in blue writing on Checkout page of site?
    Below the tablet product details.

I have looked everywhere and even asked Microsoft help line on order page who knew nothing about promotion. Can you send me a link to page that show promo code entry.

I wonder if promotion has expired already?

Hi. I got the link from www.forums.overclockers.co.uk.
On the "mobile phones and tablets" section, there's an HP stream 7 thread. Could be that the promo has expired, give the link from overclockers a go?
    Good luck

Quite like it. Sits nicely in the hand, very portable. Downloaded Chrome to use as main browser and its zipping along nicely, desktop in miniature :-D
For the cash outlay its great.

Download touchmousepointer. It emulates a trackpad/mouse. You can use full screen as a trackpad.

Makes desktop mode much easier to use.

Also you can install a standard keyboard from windows 8.1 PC settings menu - keyboard setting or something like that. This keyboard has numbers along top like normal PC rather than in a keypad. Odd that the standard keyboard is hidden!

Add teamviewer and you can connect remotely using a PC. Makes configuration or installation of things much easier.

Cheers. i'll look into that touchmousepointer, i found the standard keyboard in PC settings, keys are a little smaller using it mind you. Reckon I'd still have paid the £74.99 for this without the promo code, its very good. The ability to swap between desktop Windows and the 'metro' Windows Phone style is nice.
