Here we go again and Leicester's remarkable exploits last season demand they are included - so by popular opinion the teams are...
Arsenal
Chelsea
Leicester City
Liverpool
Man City
Man United
Tottenham

The first clash is tomorrow at the Emirates as Arsenal host Liverpool...

Glad it's back but not a great start for us! Need to bounce back against Leicester.

My mini league involving the teams that finished 15th-17th last season and the three promoted clubs will be up shortly before the first fixture which is Sunderland v Middlesbrough on the 21st.

That's odd. After a Manchester derby I thought someone would be in here reminding you to update the table. They were quick enough to do it before.

Seven points for Liverpool so far this season, out of 12, all seven coming from last season's top three.

Chelsea away doesn't fill me with confidence.

He came on about half past two stating he'd not be around for the rest of the day for some reason - the update will be a nice surprise for him on his return.

I'm a bit more bullish about the Chelsea game - they've been patchy (like us) but have got results due to a solid defence (helped by the arrival of Kante). We just need to be clinical as I'm convinced we'll get chances. Should be an interesting game and very watchable.

No reason why not - no Europe, some good depth in attacking areas and hopefully a better keeper and CB to come back from injury. I'm very hopeful we'll give a good account of ourselves.

We only have the Manchesters to play in this half of the season now - could be very interesting, at home to both.
