In India (as with most other countries in the world) if you have money/dirt on people in high places/connections, then nothing. Since he had dirt on high ranking BCCI officials, he (as well as some team owners) managed to walk away from tax evasion and fixing of which players go to which team. Although I bet this is just the tip of the iceberg.

He published a couple of confidential emails from BCCI member(s), this was enough for the BCCI to drop all charges and have a word with the police to not investigate further. No doubt Modi agreed to stop publishing emails. I am of course guessing that Modi agreed to publish no more emails. Funnily enough, no further emails have been published.

Yep you are probably right, Trott doesnt upset people so avoids stick. KP gets stick for his antics. Then some people like to add the bit about him being South African, thus gets it in the neck for that as well (right so).

Trott most likely came over here for the money. So he wouldnt want to do anything to upset that. However if Trott started the same tactics as KP, you can bet he would get just as much stick.

this is going to take time to solve, good on pieterson for fighting for justice, both sides at fault here, ECB have been bad in solving this issue, KP been acting like a prick, and the English Players behind the joke twitter account, but so far look like they have gotten away with it.
