  Wow just finding out about this. I loved his movies when I was young, great horror Director. My thoughts are with his family.

  yes I agree, when you buy a scream mask now on the tag it says "ghostface the icon of halloween" but I think that's wrong because Freddy Krueger should have that title.
  The thing that I liked about Wes Craven's movies is that he had the good guys turn bad by the end of the film last house on the left and the hills have eyes the good guys always do bad things to the villains and ultimately end up becoming just as bad as them. He explained that in a commentary for one of his films, he always did a good directors commentary RIP
