Have you tried the Chrome browser? That works fine for me with BT sport
nothing like the quality of sky tv football.... but looks
like Im stuck with it
Ill have to try and find a schedule and figure out whats
on in the coming week !
As for the picture quality you have to pay extra for the HD broadcasts, £3 a month, it is only SD that is now free.
sky box will cost extra a month
besides I dont have any package with sky right now .
thought... it looks pretty good... master class from
ricky ponting... lots of other goodies, then I realised I was looking at sky sports schedule !
looks like theres live soccer tonight... on BT Verona v Palermo.... cant wait !
2 secs later blue screen and crash .....
getting these channels on the net is becoming a pain !

or have you got a Sky viewing card - not necessarily a subscription- see here

Then a few months ago, I upgraded my PC and had to reinstall Windows 8. BT Sport worked a treat, first time and every time. So ultimately, it's possible that there is no other way to fix it - good luck anyway!
it via sky ?
theres obviously a sky card... prob outdated .... down there in
the box
I just got the impression it was an extra 5 quid a month...
Just got both 1 and 2 on fire fox browswer....
even though Im an XP diehard and the browser is out of date.
As long as you're still getting the free-to view channels (Sony Movies/LFC and a few others) then the card is still active and being updated so you stand a good chance.
Follow the instructions on the BT link and enter the card number - good luck.
This won't work. My situation exactly. I have rung BT and they have activated, the problem is Sky not recognising the card as valid, so any updates BT make don't work. Sky won't budge unless you subscribe.
per weekend........
this weekend though isnt that inspiring....
QPR v STOKE
I wont be staying in to watch that one !
But next weekend it hots up........ L pool v Everton...
so lots of guys will be going over to BT Broadband...
and watching the matches on their browser !!!
Hope they are not disappointed with the quality
and the stop ... start !
Viewing on Firefox is the best I can do so far .

aweful pic at first , but after 60 seconds a good... hd
pic came thru
In the end , no complaints... good game and good pic
well done BT TV
The bandwidth is 1.3Mbps when in an average size window (so SD) and shoots up automatically to 3.75Mbps and HD-lite (probably 720p) when fullscreen. Only takes 5 seconds to buffer and adapt to HD on a fast fibre connection. And I get it in HD when I haven't paid for HD on the Sky box!
