Anyone here watch Homeland? I didn't watch it on TV, but have started watching series 1 on DVD. In the third episode, the central character takes his dauughter to this place where there is a tall wire-mesh fence with lots of padlocks attached to it. Each padlock bears a pair of initials written in black permanent marker, including his and his wife's. He explains to his daughter that they are all couples who thought they would be together for ever. Sound familiar?

Yes, I watch it. It's one of the best shows on tv at the moment.

Aw, boys  I'm so hoping that happens still.

It'd be funny for someone to call in and do it from a different perspective:

"I'm getting married next week, and my boyfriend says that he loves me, but I still don't completely believe him and his ex is always around - not doing anything - but still around, so I think I should try and get him locked up so my relationship will be safe. What should I do?" ...
Do it. Your boyfriend will thank you for it. Trust me.

'I have recently had a house guest who was deeply troubled and yet strangely attractive and charming. Now that he's gone, I miss him terribly and I'm beginning to wonder if I am in the wrong job. Should I follow my heart?'

Yeah I thought so as well. Best to get that guy locked up. Not because I don't trust my boyfriend or anything, but because I think the guy would be dangerous.

Knowing him, he'd probably end up murdering him or something.

Am I blanking out because I don't remember Doug singing in yesterday's episode?

I thought something might have happened because there were quite a few pages since I was here earlier, but it seems not... which is a shame/a relief (delete as applicable).
