  hmmm, couldnt u connect ur DVD Player via Coax ?, i havent seen a Amp with 3 Optic inputs but i have seen 2 optic and 1 coax input !

  My Yamaha DSP-AX640SE has 3 optical + 1 co-ax at the rear, plus a further optical at the front.
  Enough for my Sky+, DAB, Freeview, DVD player and Mini-Disc but no space for my DVD recorder!

  If you don't find an amp with three optical inputs, you could always get an optical - coax converter:

  IIRC my Sony amp has at least three if not four, so I'm sure you won't have probs finding one.
