Tell me your birth time *LICK*

Didn't enjoy the first episode at all. Thought the "twist" at the end was highly predictable.

Anyone watched episode 12 yet? I have a question?
who did Vee shag and get shot? I thought the police man said it was her son? Or did he say one of her boys? It wasn't her son was it?

No. It was one of the guys who helped her out on her drug runs with Tasty. She knew him from when he was a kid and classed him as a son and he classed her as a mom.

Liked episode one. Not too keen on number two. Onwards towards three... It could be a late night.

Been working my way through season 2 most of the day.

Love that we are seeing more of each character's back story. S1 was just Piper/Alex with everyone else as a supporting case. This one feels they are more equal. Surprisingly I haven't missed Alex as much as I thought I would.

Bit bored of the whole storyline with Daya/Bennett storyline, but then I wasn't overly fond of it in S1 either. To be honest I don't find the spanish group very interesting compared to the other groups.

Vee's takeover is an interesting strand this series. Like how you could gradually see her gaining control of Taystee, Crazy Eyes etc and turning them against their friends. Feel really sorry for Poussey and how they've treated her since Vee came along. Her back story was sad too. The history between Vee and Red is an interesting twist too.

Love the rise of the oldies. :D Never underestimate old ladies!

    Larry

    Polly>:(

Just finished episode six. It's been a brilliant few half a dozen episodes.

I love Big Boo and Nicky. They work well together. And Vee is very interesting.

Not enough Pennastacky for me though thus far, and Sophia is so underused.

The weakest link for the show imo is Jason biggs character on the outside. I feel this season he was pointless and the storyline with him felt predictable. I personally feel as Piper has become more independant, we don't really need to see him anymore.

Really enjoyed this season, the focus being spread between many more characters was a real boost.

And as a bonus I can get some sleep ;-)

Although Poussey Washington is a little slip of a girl, isn't she supposed to be military trained? In which case, why doesn't she try to defend herself when beaten up?

Although the inmates back stories have some relevance, does anybody feel that they seem a bit superfluous at times? Not connecting to the plot as much as you might imagine.

Also, although prison surpresses people, most of them seem shadows of their outside prison selves.

Just wading through season 2 now, dissapointing there seems to be less Piper than before, I like her comedy moments best over all the soap opera storylines and flashbacks of the other characters.

She was blind drunk and couldn't even walk so it was probably that.

I watched it all from Friday night and finished at 8:30 on Saturday morning. It was brilliant and I can't believe we have to wait another year for season 3 :(
    my thoughts
I didn't like Vee from the moment she entered. I knew she was going to manipulate the girls and use them for her own ends. She was cruel and nasty and brought out a really vicious side of Crazy Eyes, and then set her up to take the fall convincing her to believe she slocked Red. I was glad she got splattered as opposed to sent down to max.

Poor Morello, I had a feeling she'd gone a bit crazy over a none existent boyfriend and that there was never going to be a wedding. When it showed what she'd done, I couldn't feel disgusted with her for her crimes, I just felt sorry for her. I'm glad she got away with her little home visit, although my heart was in my mouth. It was sweet when Nichols found out and was comforting her.

Oh and finding out what happened to little boo ... I did laugh :D

I'm on episode 5. Is it ever explained how Alex walked out a free woman from the trial? What's happened to Porntache? Does he reappear?

Pornstach was suspended after he was caught having sex Daya (who set him up to cover the fact she was pregnant with Bennett's kid). He returns in episode 9. We are explained how Alex walked out a free woman towards the end of the season

Have they ever actually said that she's military trained? Her dad was in the military. She was just in his family, moving around from base to base as her dad gets reassigned. I've known people who grew up like that. Children in military families do not receive combat training, as a general rule.
