Samsung TV iPlayer 3D The Day of the Doctor?

I've found the correct split screen version '51. 3D The Day of the Doctor' on my Freesat Samsung 6300 iPlayer, however when I play it the TV won't recognise it as 3D. The screen stays split and the TV's menu won't allow me to select the correct side-by-side 3D mode.
Anyone else able to get the 3D iPlayer version working on any platforms?
Edit: Hmm, I have a Samsung BR player attached to the TV, just played the programme through the BluRay's iPlayer and doing it this way the TV allows me to select the correct mode. Looks really good - apart from the BBC graphic floating in the left corner

Worked fine using iPlayer on my PC connected to the TV but would like to know if anyone has got around this on the TV.
