Today has been very pleasant - a temperature which is warm enough to walk about in without feeling uncomfortably hot, and a nice covering of cloud to hide the strong burning sun.

I can't see what anyone could possibly find wrong with this.

Its been blummin cold in Suffolk today. It has been dull and on the verge of rain all day. There is also a strong breeze blowing, which is very cool.

We did actually get a little rain in Norwich at lunchtime. It was very nice.

Put your parrot out? Is that a euphemism?

Some of us keep caged birds.

BBC weather forecast said last night that some areas of the UK could have ground frost this morning.

Gotta love the UK weather in mid summer.

Gotta love the UK weather in mid summer.

And they were spot on as the stations below recorded one. Its bog standard for these places in June with an Azores high pressure and subsequent wind direction.

    Stations: Temp.
    Eskdalemuir (242 m) -1.0 °C
    Sennybridge (307 m) -1.0 °C
    Shawbury (72 m) -1.0 °C
    Filton (59 m) -1.0 °C
    Topcliffe (28 m) -1.0 °C

meanwhile the minimum temps on on the Hebrides was around 8 C

And its not mid summer that would be around July 15th

We had gorgeous sunshine this morning in Dorset - so I put suncream, shorts and t shirt on my toddler as he's at the childminders all day. Went outside on my lunchhour and it is not warm at all. Poor kid, I can just imagine him shivering up there!

It has been a beautiful day today......

However, I went to my local corner shop this afternoon and the woman at the till had a heater on behind the counter!:confused:
