Thought I would share...

My back is better, so I will be returning to work :)

I don't use my birthday as a password

Oh, there was something else but it was obviously so of non-importance I can't remember what it is now :p

Do any other posters ever feel like going onto a forum and posting irrelevant bits of info about your life, that the average person would find totally inane?

    Isn't that what Facebook's for? :)

It's not what you say - it's the way that you say it.

    Just that really :D

There are lots of people who for some reason seem to find my mundane, average life fascinating :D

I must bore their socks of. What other snippets do I have

    *Sigh*

It rained a lot Friday :p

This is my point. When you post this stuff on a forum, it's boring. So why do people think it's interesting on Facebook?

Because it's people you're actually interested in

Yeah, there are some legitimate users, but I'm thinking more the irrelevant status updates.

I didn't actually start this thread to turn it into Facebook bashing, per se. More just thoughts I had floating around in my head at the time.

I was on the bus on Friday and got into a great conversation with a 70 yr old lady. She was telling me about her life and other people lead more interesting lives than me. I genuinely enjoy hearing other people's stories but also genuine interactions. You can't do that on Facebook.

Very happy your back is better.
My day started badly and ended well which is, by far, the best way round as far as I am concerned.
Now I can go to bed happy, content my niece has had a great birthday and full of cake.

Judging by daily posts counts, you've got that one covered.

    I like ironic posts.
