What a poor game sadly. Lets hope the weather is fine for next week and we have a good decider.

I think England should put Gayle in at 7 next week.

Also get the ball in watkins hand.

It is possible but why pick him ? He isn't trained with the squad or played League for a year. Plus the pack is doing alright. Only change I would make in the 17 is Gale in for Williams

I worry for England as Mcnamara is a bad bad coach. He played not to lose with 1 up football and I can't see it changing next week. Win or lose he needs to go.

Why isn't watkins getting ball? Hardaker never used as an attacking weapon. Burgess and hall fed scraps.

Apart from a couple of absolute massacres, that was the worst international game I've ever watched. England were so clueless. The 6th tackle plays were almost breathtakingly bad at times.

Luckily, we had a good day in that there London, so it wasn't a total loss.

so luke gale misses out again. matty smith should not be in the team.

very harsh on Leroy Cudjoe also. What does he need to do before he gets a game.

good that Jermaine McGillvary has been picked.

McNamara picking Matty Smith is him being continuing with the super cautious approach in this series.

Phew! Got over the line. Decent performance, but I don't think they would have beaten the full NZ team. There's more in this English team than McNamara is getting out. On to the Four Nations next year!

Matty Smith had a surprisingly good game for me.

Nightingale is such a good finisher, one of the best.

NZ just didn't have the quality at 6 & 7. With the starting half backs they would of won.

    Jermaine McGillvary also players well.

I am glad you two didn't pick the side :p . Matty Smith was outstanding today and rightly given the Man of the Match award.

We have finally got our man our salary cap put up to 1.3 million which allows us to sign him

A big gamble we can only wait and see if it pays off

Posted this in the NFL thread but may be of interest on this thread as well

Possible high profile move for one of true Burgess brothers ?

NRL star Tom Burgess has reportedly trialled as a tight end for the New York Giants — a position where he will have to do much more than just block opposition defenders

If anyone wants to watch the Rhinos pre-season match in Florida, it's being streamed live on youtube. Not the best quality, but what else are you going to do on a Sunday evening?

Not a bad afternoon yesterday watching Rhinos-v-Bulls for Carl Ablett's testimonial.

Leeds looked a bit rusty, but I suppose that is to be expected due to a combination of jetlag and it being their first proper game and all.

I think Bradford fans could have grounds for optimism. They look a good unit. If they can time it right for the final 8, they might have a chance of promotion.
