@liamc01 they've been in LA most of this year recording songs for their next album, concert date next month. 3rd Season of Jedward's Big Adventure was shown on CBBC at the beginning of the year.
Nice interaction between Twins and Candian singer Grimes! Been wondering for ages when they would tweet her. Anyway they've mutually followed each other.
If anyone's not familiar with her, her real name is Claire Boucher, lives in Montreal. Her music isn't to everyone's taste but she's quirky and intelligent, and would quite likely get on well with John and Edward if they met up. She's directed some of her own music vids too.

Sounds like they'd get on well. it'd be nice if they got to meet up at some point
I wish I wasn't so old and out of touch - I genuinely expected that magazine to have tips on putting up shelves and stuff. I was quite disappointed, but I suppose a music mag is better
The online sleepover was good fun! Just the thing after a hard day decorating
I like The Twins using Facebook because you're not so restricted by the twitter word limit. It makes for a different kind of interaction.
Is there any particular reason why you include the phrase "John and Edward Official X Factor" in your comments on the twins Facebook posts? I only ask because I was searching through the 1200 odd comments looking for the ones which were actually from "John and Edward - Official X Factor" and it was a bit annoying when other people used that phrase in their comments. You and Lisa were the main culprits lol.

I don't use FB much normally, Only to post links and stuff. I had no idea you could do that, so when I saw a few others doing it I tried to work out how, and then tried it out a few times to see if it did anything. But I don't think it does lol

I've never been into facebook much either, I suppose I'm going to have to try and get the hang of it now. Do you know if it's possible to get a notification sent to a phone/ipad whenever J&E post anything?

I don't know, I can't see any way to get them. I only get notifications if somebody messages or replies to me, or if somebody I'm friends with posts on a thread I've posted on. But there may be a way I can't see.

It's the FB equivalent of tagging someone on twitter. If I'm replying to someone directly (and I did it with people other than the Twins as well) I'll @ and their name. It allows the other person to know I've replied to them. For instance, I said I was putting the kettle on, Fiona tagged me to ask if it had boiled yet - which I was able to reply to as it came up in my mentions.
Also if you hover over their name with your mouse on their FB page you can get the option to get notifications (I'm away from my iMac at the moment so don't quote me on that).

They should definitely meet up... it would be absolutely fantastic! Canada meets Ireland... perfect!

Thankyou, I discovered you actually have to hover over the box that says "liked". I don't know if it will send me a notification when they've commented on their own post though, which was what I really wanted to see.

But won't they get a notification anyway when someone comments on their post, whether they're tagged in or not?
Anyway, it's no big deal. It wasn't bothering me that much.
I found a cute little post about the twins in a US tabloid... sooooo cute!
oh wait... I can't link the article. Sorry! (I'm so tech-challenged).
Love Facebook, btw... it's so retro... completely groovy!
Seriously tho, dudes... who in the **** has shut J&E down on twitter? As their entire fanbase was built on twitter, why would anyone in their right mind suggest that J&E go back to middle-school facebook?
Seems the video for Everyday Superstar is finished! Yay! But YT have taken it down for copyright reasons...guess it's the same reason they took down POV so hopefully John and Edward will get it fixed pronto. Seriously, considering it's their material...how is it a breach of copyright...
There's a lot of fans on Facebook who don't use twitter so it's an entirely different atmosphere. The numbers following John and Edward on there is growing every day. Facebook is more widely used in Europe and Asia than twitter, so it makes sense for the Twins (capitalised to differentiate them from any other twins) to use it as well. There's also a lot more freedom on that platform - the guessing game the other night was great fun and a whole lot more interactive than a twitter reply session, because people weren't vying for their attention, but having FUN.
Comments
quite funny to see them pretend to be a dog and tweet themselves tho
Blaze really does have a freer tongue than @planetjedward.
Check my cover of John Legend's amazing song 'all of me' if you get chance

They have been using that more lately, but not sending a message out on twitter.
This evening they had an online "sleep over" with popcorn and The Notebook (tissues included -apparently it's a sad movie) then they fell asleep.

This whole thing baffles me.
