Yes Steph says that candle has gone but I took that to mean that while she's not in love anymore she still loves him. IDK, personally, I would never date any of my friends ex anyway but it's a very grey issue and one that everyone needs to make for themselves I guess or to talk about with really close friends to find out their feelings also softly softly approach is always best. People respond better to sugar than to salt. However I do believe that the dynamics of a friendship would change forever if you went with a friend ex partner.

They were in a 5 year relationship and had a child together. 2 months after the breakup one of her good mates has jumped in there. I would be pissed aswell. People breakup and get back together all the time. Kym obviously knows that. In a 5 year relationship there's bound to be a few bumps in the road and this could have been a bump. But Stephanie will never know if the relationship could have been mended because one if her mates decided to think only of herself.
She has every right to be annoyed and Kym just comes off like a selfish bitch who doesn't respect anyone else's boundaries

I honestly don't know anyone who has went out a friends ex tbh and I guess it's not a one size fits all thing, the last bloke Steph went out she might have been fine for this to happen but not this one, she's hurt and upset and while it might not have been good to go to the press she does have my sympathy.

They must have been close for Stephanie to confide her worries to Kym. Also they have each other's numbers to be able to text back and forth. You don't do that with someone you barely know.
