Hmmm, when Pippa's baby died in Home and Away I was a wreck all the way through. Same with Daniel's death in Emmerdale.

The scene in EE with Kat applying lipstick as a child would (following the Kat/ Zoe/ Harry revelations) when she breaks down and sobs was also brilliantly heartwrenching. My favourite episodes of soap ever.

Oh and in Neighbours, when Toadie finds a letter from Dee shortly after her disappearance/ death.

I must confess to being rather upset when Nana Moon died on EE because she was a lot like my own nan who'd already passed away at that point.

As for crying? Never. I've never cried whilst watching a soap, TV show or film. Few things make me cry TBH.

Not a soap but the only TV show I have cried at has been the final of Lost. It takes a lot for me to cry at shows!

I ALMOST cried when Danielle died, I remember having a lump in my throat and eyes watered up. When Ronnie was holding Danielle's body and the way her cries and wails echoed before the duff duff is still something I remember till today.

Do people actually genuinely cry at tv shows?

I always thought the girls all over my facebook "bawling there eyes out" to one born every minute were being dramatic :o

Yes I cry if an animal dies in a soap or if a child is harmed. I don't really get upset if an actor dies!

I cry at anything remotely sad or happy. I cried when Hercule Poirot died last week ! I will definitely cry at Hayley's passing.

I will admit to having a tear in my eye when the Ethel storyline concluded on EastEnders.
It was beautifully done IMO, and I had always had a soft spot for Ethel.

Gretchen Franklin played the role superbly if you ask me, even before this storyline started.

I cry way too much over tv shows, anything remotely sad and I'm bawling.

Weirdly I don't cry that much in real life.

I've actually lost count on the amount of times I've cried at a soap, but one I'm highly confused about was when Alicia got shot in Emmerdale... I wasn't even a HUGE fan of Alicia but for some reason that really made me want to cry, but I'm a fan of her now
I cried when Danielle died in EastEnders AND I'm sure I cried through the whole of Pat's death episode, but I tried to hold my tears back

I'm the same it doesn't tend to bother me so much when a human dies in a film, tv show or book, but when an animal dies I'm an emotional wreck:(

I cried buckets when Danial in Emmerdale died.
It was just after Valentines Day. When Ashley cried over his little coffin at his funeraL I cried so hard my hubby could hear me from the driveway when he came home from work. He had bought me a new microwave as a surprise and I couldn`t even draw up any enthusiasm like I would have had the day before.

I have to admit I tend to get really weepy when watching Emmerdale

I cried during Aaron's coming out & attempted suicide episodes, I was inconsolable when he left!

I cried when Len Reynolds died

I cried when Batley & Clyde got put down

I cried when Carl King died...

:o Im a bit of a softie. lol

It takes a lot for me to cry. I'm fine with most films and tv shows but I did get upset when Pat died in EastEnders. :o:(

I cried at EE when they were taking lexi away from Lola. Watching her scream for someone to stop them was really powerful.
I always cry at extreme makeover - home edition.
