So as we approach the finish line of another year what do uou think have been the best new British programmes of 2014

For me it's

Brds Of A Feather well I say new but Marks And Gran have updated their classic sitcom witnout deviating too far from what made it the success it was therefore making it as fresh and as funny as it was in the old days

Channel 5's Suspects offers a fresh brilliantly original twist on the treditional police drama by filming all the action in the style of a documentary

Finally Judge Rinder on ITV offers a unique Brittish Twist on the Judge Judy format and IMO is the best show they've done for the early part of the Afternoon in years so glad it,s coming back next year for series 2

Yes both Happy Vally and Our Zoo were well worth watching
Sheridan Smith as Cilla was just about as good as you can get

    Happy Valley was fantastic.
    True Detective was really special.
In the Club was quite decent too.
The channel 4 space station show was fascinating.

    Marvellous

Outlander, too, was wonderful to watch. It hasn't been broadcast on UK TV yet, but definitely worth a watch when it is.
