Dual Channel memory performance gain?

May or may not get some faster RAM for my new build system, but noticed this. A pair of Kingston HyperX ram, 8GB for £49.

Looks a good deal. Thing is, would 8GB of this ram outperform 12GB of Crucial Ballistix sport ram at stock speeds? Would either of them overclock that well?

Which is what I have at the moment. If not then I'd stick with the Crucial ram I have. Unless someone could recommend better ram for an Asrock Extreme 4/Intel 4770 setup.
