You missed a lot good games you should pick a cheap xbox 360 you can find a lot good games you've missed for low as fiver.

I could afford the games no bother. It's the console itself.
I've tried saving but had to spend the money on more importent things. :)

Please send all donations to Chucky Blackhart PO box...:D

    Found the V logo origin!

Well done for the find! Brilliant work. :D

This could suggest that the game is set in Washington DC and the story is centered around the U.S. Mint. I hope not though, I can't imagine D.C. being a fun city to play.

That particular note was minted by San Francisco Federal Reserve, The native americans tribe was based in Yellowstone. Both of which were locations in San Andreas. Indeed San Andreas featured the San Fierro Federal Reserve

Despite GTA IV being such a massive disappointment (never played the expansion packs though), I'm still relatively excited for this. GTA games have so much potential in them, and if this is anywhere nearly as detailed as San Andreas - which I suspect it will be, given the massive development time - then I'll be picking it up.

I feel the same. GTA:IV bored the arse off me. The main character was boring and constant phone calls from the cousin were irritating as hell.

Rockstar's got some serious competition in Saints Row 3 though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eLwIRo1RYY#t=1m22s

I have to say that this news has prompted me to download San Andreas from XBLA. Whilst I prefer Vice City, there is still a lot of good things in SA....most of which weren't available in GTAIV....flying planes, rolling hills and countryside, casinos, bicycles.

I'd just wish they'd make VC available for DL too...

As I've previously stated, I don't care which City/cities GTAV is based on, so long as there is a variety of landscapes to roam around. Snow would be a good addition too....to be able to ski or snowboard could almost create a pretty decent game within a game......oh man, maybe GTAV could be the Inception of the gaming world...."hmmm, is it a game within a game within a game or just a game within a game?".

That was a good find mate, well done. Im sure it will be set in San Andreas, this tuesday cant come soon enough for me!!

Im sure we will find out quite a bit from the 1st trailer, although Rockstar will not want to give too much away. I expect the trailer will end with 'coming fall 2012....'

As long as it's funny, violent, and has the usual massive soundtrack, i'm in.

Hopefully it's not as po faced as IV. But even if it is, who cares.

What am i saying? It's GTA. It's clearly a day one buy.

Hopefully rockstar have taken on the critisim from GTA 4 ( I liked it though I did miss things from previous games e.g. The customisaton etc ) and improved the game on all levels. I also hope it's a bigger world, I was one who thought SA had a perfect size world.

That is gameplay footage, what are you talking about?

And if you think this looks worse than PS2 footage I think you need your eyes testing

A lot of the things I disliked about GTA4 were actually corrected in Red Dead Redemption. So if Rockstar model GTA5 on RDR (rather than GTA4) I should be pretty happy.

But you could argue that the errors of GTA4 were actually corrected before RDR came along in Ballad of Gay Tony. So I would say their lessons have indeed been learnt before GTA5 was even been planned.

HA! Total opposite here. Got Red Dead, took it back the next day for trade in. Absolute nonsense of a game and even the horse seemed like he was from a Commodore 64.

(I know I'm in a minority on that)

However, seems a lot of people moaning about GTA IV when it out sold Red Dead by a massive margin. Sales talk, BS walks.

Let's hope the driving is similar to that in San Andreas/Vice City.

One of the most crappiest things about GTA IV was the absolutely stupid driving style, if you knocked over a lamp post at high speed your car literally rolls over in the air like 2-3 times.

Aw, I loved Roman! But I do agree the storyline as a whole was quite depressing, we need a more upbeat character.

We need a storyline that makes sense. Nico spends the entire damn game talking about how he's only doing things for money... meanwhile he's got over $1 million and absolutely nothing to spend it on.

I agree with the comments about 4 being boring, I thought that too. past the initial wow impression I got when I saw the city graphically I quickly got bored of the game.
I also thought rdr was boring too personally.

Interesting to read that there could be multiple playable characters in GTA5. Not sure I'm keen on that...I'd rather have 1 character with plenty of options for customization.

GTA4 was incredibly boring, but the expansion packs shows that they listened to the criticisms. 5 will be amazing.

    (I hope :o)

    The dollar-like "V" hints that it's America

the V actually made me think of a £5 note - London!

Actually, if you look at the typecast of the word five on an American $5 bill and look at a Bank of England £5 note, the typecast is the same.

Just pointing that out but I really do not think it will be London, or any other UK city. I just don't think it would work.

It wouldn't work. Even the brits that popped up in the GTA games seemed a bit forced. (Danny Dyer?)

A UK based GTA would only be big here. No one else would care.

To me it was nothing like GTA, Rockstar should not be to worried at all.
