    Wishing you a speedy recovery, Morrissey. His "if I die, I die" comment is so typically droll of him, it kinda made me smile.

    He claimed he did in an interview with Q magazine, he didn't disclose the name though

    Morrissey, my glorious, beautiful idol. I wish him all the best and all the strength to get through this rough time. Wishing him a speedy recovery. I've adored and admired this man since the 90's so this is horrible news to read. :-(

    Loving the love here for Morrissey.

    I stopped listening to contemporary pop music because of The Smiths. For me it was perfection and everything that came after was sub standard.

    One of the best musical lyricists of all time. Some of his more recent outbursts have been somewhat - silly - but wish him a speedy recovery back to good health.

    Love Morrissey, so hope he's ok, even when he's spouting statements I don't agree with, at least he's interesting.

    Grew up with The Smiths, such an important band for us Indie Kids, back in the day, and this week nominated for the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame

    You might not like his music but you can't deny he writes beautiful lyrics at times....

    Absolutely spot on, Music is so bland these days, love the way Morrissey doesn't pull any punches, which I for one, applaud.

    Was listening to 'I'm not Sorry' earlier, some brilliant lines from The Moz.....
