Too many names of Internet ports on our TV?

We are having many companies trying to get our money at this time for films and some tv shows.
I feel that too many are on too many boxes, tv's and no fully on all, so the public does not have full choice to services that are about.
We have Iplayers, which I find handy and are free services from our top five TV channels and are coming to all top services like Freeview & FreeSat, but there are others players but cost due to being on a pay service like sky, virgin.
As for Freeview we have internet links on epg and other TV's and BOX's have ports that allow the item to link with our internet service by wireless or cable.
there are boxes that have internet that link with your TV, like old DTT service ON Mail, ON Net
So can you name all services that use our TV systems, internet and which box ot TV they are on ????
