Alright, more in hold would've been nice, but come on, only 1 point more than Riker? That was a 35 dance minimum based on the judges comments, along with the sheer beauty of it. I'd be campaigning for 10s if she'd had more in hold, 8s seem a bit churlish.
I know they're leaving all the celebs room to improve (which I approve of massively), but that doesn't work if actually amazing week 1 and 2 dances aren't marked accordingly; if Rumer performs a Waltz that's equal in quality to her Foxtrot in week 5, and the judges give it 9, 9, 9, 9, I'm not going to think she's improved, I'm just going to think the scores are junk.
