I'm really really getting into Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour now - I think I may have to finally buy it. Both 'Stay With Me' and 'I'm Not The Only One' are growing on me lots. I think this is the sort of album Leona was destined to make. It has that melancholy tone throughout but still really deep. It's a vocal album ultimately. Also, speaking of album titles, ITLH is an amazing one.

Am I the only one who finds his voice very screechy and annoying? I seriously can't listen to his voice, which is a shame because his songs are awesome.

I absolutely ADORE that album. Lyrically and vocally it's just stunning, I found that album very relatable at the time it came out so it made it that much more special. I'm really looking forward to MJB's new album as she's worked with him, Disclosure, Emeli & Naughty Boy... It's called The London Sessions, so I'm interested to see how it sounds :D

It's insane how he's come out at the start of his career and his album and singles still smash all over the world - especially the US - with no backlash or hesitation from radio/promotional platforms. He's a great role model and example of a true artist. I've just read an article in the newspapaer about him talking openly about the subject of his album. More artists should be open about themselves now.

I absolutely love Sam's album. Especially I know I'm Not The Only One. Love the sentiments behind his tracks.
Also can't wait to hear MJB's album.

His Album is absolutely stunnig lyrically and vocally!
Nirvana, Latch(acoustic version), lay me down are stand out tracks.
the rest is still amazing though i dont like a few songs like one or two.
*like i can* can really boost his sales waiting him to release it.

I'd love leona to record some strip down songs (stay, heya) wanna cry

I really like Restart from deluxe edition and Like I Can is great :)
I like his voice, the only song where his voice annoys me is Money On My Mind chorus. The first song I've heard of him was Safe With Me, then came Nirvana which slayed my life and then La La La so he got me with those for life. Nirvana-Lay Me Down-Stay With Me are some of the most emotional songs that I've heard in years.

I would love a look like this for the next album (cover):

Just something sleek and edgy like the Echo era, but a bit more mature.

That's perfect. Only thing I'd change is eyebrows. They're too dark otherwise it's flawless.

I think the style for the new album will be similar to what we have seen in Trouble music video. And we had the current photoshoot which looked very casual.

That entire shoot is exactly how I want the new era to look. It's perfect.

I'm actually surprised the letter hasn't appeared as a subject on the main TXF forum tbh... not that I'm complaining, it would probably be full of a load of rubbish comments.
