Just a general thread suggesting names for this year (yep, this year now!)

Anyone got any ideas? :) I'd love to see Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls perhaps, or one of The Saturdays.

    Geraint Vincent

rosco2010 listed Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The producers could go for a mother/daughter combo and bring in her mum, Janet Ellis.

Tameka Empson could be the compulsory 'Enders cast member in the line up.

Seeing as people sometimes say the daytime TV crew love Strictly why not get someone on from stuff like Antiques Road Trip or Bargain Hunt. Someone like Katherine Southon or Jonathan Pratt might be good. But then again most of them have auction houses or shops and are probably on TV more than enough.

For the "matue" lady slot, I would love to see Joanna Lumley or Honor Blackman or Rula Lenska or Sheila Ferguson do it.

And I would LOVE Loose Women's Jane McDonald to be paired up with Anton...they'd be an absolute hoot!!!:D

To tie in with Doctor Who's 50th anniversary year, Sylvester McCoy would be a fun participant. they could also have one of the female companions as well, depending on which age range slot they wanted to fill...

Whoever they are, it seems a basic requirement is that they must go on a journey on a level playing field. Perhaps they should run a few times round a local football pitch.

With both Jo Joyner and Nina Wadia leaving EastEnders, I wonder if we might see either of those.

Jon Culshaw was in the audience loads last year- I'm sure he can be tempted.

Do you know who I'd love to see? Gail Porter!

She's had a tough time with losing her hair and a stint in rehab due to depression, but she's just released a book and has said she wants to return to TV so she'd be a lovely person to have on there (and very graceful, I imagine!)

I'd like to see her dance with Pasha.
