    Afterwards by Rosamund Lupton.

It was on my Amazon wishlist and now only £1.99

Didn't think it would be my thing when I started it but it's surprisingly good. Not too mawkish - which is what I thought.it might be.

Currently reading The Gallows Curse by Karen Maitland. It's not my usual genre of fiction but I'm actually really enjoying it.

I adored this book. Was much better than "Sister" and I cried an awful lot at the end!

    I loved that book!

I'm currently working my way through the Detective superintendent Roy Grace series by Peter James. I quite enjoyed the first one but have just finished the 6th and now i find them un-put-downable! Will start the 7th one tonight.

Know what you mean, after going through the turmoil of the book it wasn't a particularly satisfying conclusion, such is life I guess.

I'm half way through Ritual and it's shit compared to the others...but at least I can sleep at night :D

Yeah, I still enjoyed it but when I got to the end it was like "Is that it?"

I was planning on reading Ritual next, but maybe I won't bother!

No, you've got to read it, I like comparing notes! :D

Caffrey has relocated to Bristol and I kind of miss that gritty London edge so maybe that's why I'm not as in to it as the others.

Maybe you were just not in the mood for it!

I have just started Victims - Jonathan kellerman. Another Alex Dellaware thriller, I always enjoy these.

I'm reading Girl Reading by Katie Ward. I thought it was a novel but it's more like 5 short stories, where in each one a woman is the subject of a painting. I felt a bit cheated when I got to the end of the first story and realised the characters I was beginning to know & like wouldn't be in the book any more!
