Powerpoint help please!!!

So i'm trying to embed a Youtube video into PP (2010), I followed the help section on PP but it would only let me use the old embed code, whatever that means.

So my video is on the PP but when I try to play it, it comes up with this box:

'Windows Media Player
To play the selected item, you must install a later version of the Adobe Flash Player. To download the Adobe Flash Player, go to the Adobe website.'

Then it gives an option to select either 'close' or 'web help'. So I clicked on web help and it took me to this page: http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I've now downloaded that link but I still can't play the video, it just says the same thing (even though i've downloaded it).

Can anyone help please? This is for my coursework...

I think there are two versions of Flash depending upon whether you have a 32 or 64 bit machine and it may allow you to install the wrong one.

I downloaded the right one but thankyou for replying.

Found out the problem: When I inserted the Youtube video, on the embedded code it has 'version=3', when I removed the two entries it was fine. Don't know how or why but it worked :)
