I wouldn't care if the car wasn't a limited time thing. I currently am sitting on around 300K, I generally hover around that point most of my gameplay time. I have ZERO plans to raise another 450K for this car over the limited time it is actually available.

Yes, but the Rat Loader was in the game originally and then removed in a previous update, there is no reason for that to have a charge placed on it because it didn't cost anything before.
The vehicle is available right away in Single Player mode, just go to any of your Garage Lock Ups, press Right to select Special Vehicles and it will be there ready to spawn right away.
Same goes for the new Tommy Gun, it will automatically be added to each character in Single Player and made available at Ammu-Nation.
The Suits and Costumes on GTA Online, to claim those, you just need to play GTA Online between the 13th and the 17th, and then you'll always have access to those costumes and items.

I spent money upgrading my car and buying weapons and had about 450k left. But after they cut the reward money for missions it really wasn't increasing.
I wanted the 750k sports car (which I can't name right now) but I didn't see any way I could save up in a reasonable amount of time so haven't touched the game since.
I tried out the Roosevelt in single player and didn't really like it. It seems like an expensive gimmick which is only desirable because its available for a limit time.
I bought a Stinger instead which luckily came without the roof on (Strangely sometimes it has windows, sometime it doesn't )

I have made nearly 700k since buying the Stinger on Saturday. Missions, Survival, selling cars and Armoured Trucks will all keep the money regularly rolling in. If you really want to make money though farm the Coveted mission, 18k per round and it only takes about 3 minutes per round. You can knock out 90k in under 25 minutes if you are fast with the reloading and getting the mission started.
If Rockstar want to make any real money out of me in GTA Online they need to sell larger garages. I would pay real money for a larger garages now mine is full.
I couldn't see the Roosevelt in single player - got a message saying it and the "tommy gun" had been added to the game but both Franklyn and Trevor's garages were full so there was no sign of it in either of those - Michael's garage had an empty space in it, but even there the Roosevelt didn't turn up to fill the void.

You need to press right on the d-pad and it will bring up the special cars and the Roosevelt can be found there. It only works on SP.
had great fun yesterday when i went back into it ..... but good gawd those crates take their time getting there sometimes ..... and i actually got one myself WITH THE MINIGUN and some other things i wasn't quick enough to read
also got a couple of requested vehicles ..... first time some little shit was waiting for me to nab my car, tried to wait it out but the little bastard stole it!!!!!
next bit of trouble i just stuck a sticky bomb to and and rammed them at the door of the garage BOOM SUCKAS if i can't have it NO ONE GETS IT CHUMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still got a nice amount of monies for the ones i did sell
oh and spawning on the beach instead of better better place to get back on the road is a GIANT PAIN IN THE ARSE!
also don't crash the stolen fighter jet into the first army truck that gets in front of you .....
also remember to manouver AWAY from the rockets the second time you steal a fighter jet DOH

You need to press the Directional pad whilst in the garages to access the special vehicles.
A message something like "Press Left/right of the directional pad to access special vehicles" should appear in the top left corner.
If you have also got the Beach Bum pack, you will also have 3 other vehicles listed too.
Between the random 'connection lost' while I'm winning a race and the slow loading screens I might be losing the will. Wish the updates would make the job experiences more seamless.
I'm not a tech person so don't know if that's unrealistic, but the waiting is annoying, especially with these connection problems that I don't think I'm alone in experiencing.
I have found playlists are a good way of limiting load screens but what you can actally add to a playlist is pretty limited. There are many missions which you just cannot include in a playlist for some strange reason.
After watching Top Gear yesterday I thought I would have a go at recreating their test track in the creator only to find that they have restricted you from using the airport and airbase to make tracks on >:( >:( Added to the extremely limited number of props you can use when building a track it makes things quite difficult to build a track which goes somewhere other than the already defined routes laid out by the roads.
I ended up building it down near at the dock area but could only get a mirror version to a point I was happy with.
If the game is crashing before the single player even loads I would try deleting the install data and reinstall the game. If that fails I would try deleting the save game data after backing it up to see if that helps.

I've not been in this thread for months after giving up on GTA V Online, I can't believe people are still waiting for Heists online
Have they given any reason why ? Or is it a simple reason, they want people to BUY cash cards rather than earn money by doing heists with friends ?

i deleted the gta game data and single player loaded up and i got online.
it did crash a few hours later but not tried to get back on as i was tired.
