I can see Dibiase turning face in the future it'll be interesting to see how Vince shakes it up towards Wrestlemania.
I think that Vince'll want to make new stars but he'll try and play it safe by having new stars going up against established names. Like HHH/Sheamus this year. Next year, it could be HHH/Barrett.
it would be very intresting to hear the Crowd's Reaction if Maryse Dumped Ted for the Miz in the Middle of the Ring
I think that if enough thought and time is put into the feud, then they could end up getting a big reaction. Also, I'd like to see a heel win in the last match at WM, we've had a face win the main event for more than the past five WMs now.
So what was the point of Season 2 of NXT if the WINNER has been released! - IN FACT WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT IN NXT AT ALL :mad::mad::mad::mad:
Hopefully they do what they did with Daniel Bryan and bring him back in a shock return. Rumble perhaps. Unlikely though.

I don't think Kaval will have the same kind of public backing for him to be resigned TBH.
I'm not surprised but think it's a shame, he's a brilliant wrestler, but that's not what WWE wants anymore.
Such a shame that Kaval has been released especially 2 days before Christmas ouch! WWE have completely f****d him over which is also a shame because he is such a talented guy and they just turned him into a complete jobber after he won NXT2:(
Yep, and Brock Lesnar becomes the second man ever to headline two 1 million buys plus PPV's in one year, the other being Mike Tyson in 1996. Hence the reason Vince was keen to get him to do next years Wrestlemania.
WWE should just do their own thing. They weren't even in the top 10 PPV buys. Their probably doing the right thing by not acknowleding UFC exists because they can't compete and will never be able to compete. Even 73,000 for them is a good number. Nothing like they used to get but as long as they make a profit they should be happy.

Gunna watch NXT tonight. But think I will give Superstars a miss this week with it being in the middle of Xmas and New Year.
I hope you caught it - I watched it earlier and thought it was a very good show this week. Certainly was the best of the three main WWE shows this week, as unlike Raw and SmackDown, it actually had meaningful ongoing matches and storylines.
My thoughts on this week's NXT...
Derrick Bateman was the clear star of the show - in storyline terms he won both challenges to earn more immunity points, not that he really needs them as he's clearly the most over rookie by far. His video montage really put him over as a star in the making and his backstage promo with Daniel Bryan made me laugh out loud.
I could see Bateman winning NXT Season 4 and I think he has the potential to be a firm favourite in the WWE long-term - maybe not as WWE Championship material, but I could certainly see him getting over in the mid-card due to possessing the humour value of Santino Marella and the likeability of Scotty 2 Hotty. A really good week for him.
Byron Saxton picked up a fluke win in a six person tag match that involved Natalya, after pinning out Brodus Clay (who I felt looked quite good in the ring, the loss coming after he missed a splash from the top rope which showed he's quite agile) who beat him a few weeks ago. Not as much of a stellar week for Saxton as the past two have been but he has plenty of personality and can work in the ring. I disagree with Josh Mathews' suggestion that he could be on the chopping block when it comes to the first elimination, he's got over far more than most of the other NXT rookies so should be fine.
Jacob Novak also avenged a defeat from a few weeks ago, by pinning out Johnny Curtis after interference from Dolph Ziggler. For me, Novak hasn't really made his mark yet - he's done OK on the mic (I liked his slow, deliberate style in the Trivia Challenge) and has done OK in the ring but has not stood out - and with the other five rookies having plenty of developmental experience in comparison, I'm starting to think he's a bit green and has been moved up to TV too soon. I feel he could be at risk in a few weeks time.
As for Curtis, he was out early on in both challenges and looked alright in the ring, so as a consequence didn't annoy as much as his disastrous showing last week. But he still attracted his fair share of boos (despite being booked as a face) and continues to give off bad vibes. Nothing has made me change my mind, I firmly believe he should be the first to go on January 4th.
Brodus Clay lost his match but what was interesting to me is that he used heel tactics in his losing effort - despite Josh and Todd playing him up as a stand-up guy on commentary. I'm interested to see where the writers go with him, I reckon they are still toying with which way to go with him.
Conor O'Brien's video package was the last one to air. It played up on how he looks like a rat, which meant his childhood was hard and was generally quite sympathetic towards him. I quite like his character and find him amusing but honestly, he's not that bad looking is he? I liked his segment in the back with Alberto Del Rio when he wanted some cheese. I can't see O'Brien winning but I hope he survives a few eliminations as his gimmick has a bit more mileage left in it. Whether he has a long-term WWE future I'm not sure, but he's certainly got more to offer now than a few of the other rookies.
The interesting thing about this series of NXT is that other than Bateman who is an obvious face and Novak who is a clear heel, all four of the other rookies are showing both face and heel tendencies and could be booked either way depending on how the crowd reacts to them. I think nominally Saxton and O'Brien were meant to be heels while Curtis was originally booked as a face, yet any of that trio and Clay could fall into either camp right now.
The first elimination was confirmed for January 4th (two weeks time) and I think Johnny Curtis, Jacob Novak and Conor O'Brien are most at risk.
Finally, I sensed some real tension between Todd Grisham and Josh 'one t' Mathews on the commentary. At points Todd was uncharacteristically hostile towards Josh, not in the jokey, friendly way he was/is to Matt Striker but seemingly much more harsh. Josh reacted in kind but in the sort of (increasingly rude) way he speaks to Michael Cole and Striker. I wonder if Todd is smarting at Josh for effectively stealing his job on SmackDown. It could be interesting how "real" their banter gets as the series wears on, especially as it's rumoured that Todd will be out of a job come the end of NXT.

Aww, that's a shame. I was hoping to see him April.
They ****ed up with him royally... What a waste of an extremely talented wrestler...
Hope they don't mess Black up in the same way.
Stupid move. Surely a future X division champ.
That's such a shame, he was used very poorly but still had heaps of potential .

Worldwide it was 239 thousand buys, but in the USA only it did 125 thousand, which is down on last year.

Maybe its the start of the curse of NXT:eek:
He should just show up every week and give out low-ki (geddit!?) beatings.
Well it worked for Cena didn't it?
