I like Eastenders for its gritty storylines and strong set of characters. I like the fact that it doesn't get ridiculous like Hollyoaks. The writing is a lot more subtle.
I like Coronation Street for its warmth and humour, as well as its ability to tell a good story now and again.
I like Hollyoaks because there is always something happening, and it doesn't try to be like the other soaps. It does its own thing, for example those on-screen text messages, and dream sequences, as well as music at the beginning of each episode.
