Merry Christmas to all who partake in this thread (I included you all in my FB status under "those who have been associated with me in 2010" - as you sort of have been)!

All too busy with the festivities to watch today's edition of Deal? Worth a look on catch-up or whatever. Merry Christmas!

Spoilered it for those who've not had a chance to watch it with it being Christmas.
    £75.000

He dealt, then said he would have swapped, got offered the gamble, took it, swapped and got the larger amount.

It was a fairly average game until right at the end when it came to life and became a quite memorable one.

I'm so glad that Ant won what he did. But it was obvious when he said he would have swapped the banker would call back.

    Hoping for a good follow-up to yesterday's game :)

Boxing Day's player is Phyli with Box 18

Phyli is from London and is currently starting her own online clothing business.

We see a picture of her father who was a boxer and has now passed away. We also see a picture of her two sons.

In her spare time she writes songs and she would love to be a singer.

    Round 1

There is another gift under the table. As usual if the 1p is found in this round then Phyli can bequeath the gift to one of her fellow players.

Her system seems to be very loosely based on the alphabetical ordering of the signs of the zodiac.

    Box 1 - £5,000
    Box 6 - £3,000
    Box 21 - £50,000
    Box 12 - 10p

The Banker phones to say they currently have the lowest viewing figures ever due to Phyli's tedious system.

    The first break is called.

Well Phyli's game was as annoying as I thought it would be

Watched it from start to finish and there was so much padding out and makes one realise what is going to happen when/if the show goes to 65 minutes

Hope everyone has had a great Boxing Day thus far and a Happy New Year to everyone :)

Just a reminder that the box game will be resuming a week tomorrow with numbers being taken a week today

I agree Richie, I had to turn it off just after the banker rang and said viewing figures had dropped considerably!!!
