Depends who I'm doing them for. My son has triangles unless he asks me for squares, which he does sometimes. I do rectangles for all norman (ie two slices of bread and a filling) sandwiches but when I'm doing smoked salmon ones we have them open and they're always in a triangle so you can squeeze the lemon juice on top
Rectangles for everyday standard sarnies and triangles for fancy ones. Nice to see I'm not the only person who thinks triangles are fancier - I thought I was the only person who thought like this
