At least they have a decent live act next week and one that's not as well know. I love Hurts and they're the best live act I've seen. I just hope they don't sing Lights. An OK single, but their first single Some Kind of heaven is much better live or hopefully Nothing will be bigger than us which I reckon should be their next single.
I'm someone that wasn't around to catch the first era of TFI Friday and I feel tonight's show was OK. It's worrying that viewers who watched the first incarnation weren't impressed (if the reactions on here and Twitter are to go by) as I can't see why younger generations would find this anymore unmissable than the likes of Norton and Carr. The banter/lad tone doesn't work with a millionaire middle aged bloke. Either that or nobody was drunk enough.
I'm glad they stuck with Evans and avoided going for any younger, less rich presenter like Grimshaw.
I agree. It's either TFI Friday with Chris Evans or no TFI Friday at all.
I could nitpick about tonight's guest list too but I'd struggle to think of any contemporary celebs who would be really interesting guests. I'd rather have Take That than Bieber.
Well I enjoyed it. It's the same crappy, mental TFI Friday that it was when I was 14. It wasn't "great" then, it was always a fun, chilled out start to the weekend though. Am glad it's back, it's better than most of the shite on TV at the weekend these days.

After trawling through the usual moaning minnies, a post I agree with. I enjoyed it the first time round in my early 30s and enjoyed it tonight.

I dont think I would have been into that at 25 tbh, i had better taste in music!
Jason was the talented one then.
And Billie's other half (current one).
Why don`t they hold up cards like they do on X Factor.. but instead of them saying "Boo, Clap, Hiss, Cheer" it can say "Shut the F**k Up"
I fear for Top Gear I really do.
It's just a money gig now.
Words that are never inappropriate. Ever.
I think it's just to make it look like it's still "edgey".. they're probably allotted an extra few minutes.
Into Take That, Justin Bieber, and U2????
It didn't get any better.
