Assassins Creed Anniversary?

With all the anticipation of the 2 upcoming Assassins Creed games and talk of improved game mechanics and a look back to the origins of the series it got me wondering what the original game would have been like to play if it was made now.
Do you think that Ubisoft may follow the example of the Halo and Fable franchises in releasing an anniversary edition with improved graphics and later game mechanics?
I think being able to play Altair with the moves and extra assassination techniques available to later characters would be pretty cool. They'd have to rejig the annoying repetitive side missions as well though.

Black Flag isn't there because it came out before that probably to get everyone set before moving to next gen, plus the amount of teams it takes to make one of these can you imagine how many more teams it would take to fully port 5/6 games to PS4/X1
I have a similar box set called Assassins Creed Anthology which has the first 5 games together in a steel book but also includes all of the DLC for all of the games.
What you've linked to is just a collection of the original games not updated versions.
When I was talking about an anniversary edition I was thinking of an upgraded version of the first AC game which was released in 2007 so it could be released in 2017. It would be cool to play as Altair with the improved game mechanics of later games and in the cities of Jerusalem, Damascus and Acre with new gen graphics. They could also add in things like allowing Altair to swim and letting you ride horses in the cities. There was a slight taster of using Altair with upgraded mechanics in the Ezio trilogy but I don't think it was enough.
In hindsight I think they moved away from Altair too quickly and they could have had another game with him before moving on to Ezio.
They could explain in more detail the events that were hinted at in Revelations.
