"Skinny Love" = Luke Friend 17-10 Matt Henry - http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1990610
"Loving You" = Leah McFall 11-8 Ella Henderson - http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1992127
So now we move on to The Power of Love. And the competitors shall be James Arthur and Christina Marie.
I only really want to use any given contestant once, so I was stuck for which James Arthur performance to compare. I decided to opt for this one given the success of both artists on either show. "I Can't Make You Love Me" vs. Jamie Johnson may have been unfair due to Arthur's version being at Judges Houses, whilst "Sexy and I Know It" would have seen him face Beth McCarthy who never made the live shows.
But yes, The Power of Love. I guess this one goes down purely on who your preference is. Two completely different performances. One is a powerful, diva type who really belts it. The other is a more alternative singer who puts a lot of passion in it. For me, I edge with James. I'm a sucker for any kind of musician that can put any kind of emotion into a performance. Christina Marie, whilst technically much more impressive, sounds just a bit more lifeless, and is arguably not as good as her duet with Nathan Amzi.
