I get a Sixth or Seventh Doctor vibe from this exchange... sounds a bit too urbane for Lady Peinforte so I'll guess Eleanor Bron's character in Revelation of the Daleks?

That's the one :) Over to you.

And a :) to Empirical for their post :)

Ah, a lucky guess. And thanks also to Empirical for a major clue. :)

I don't know the story if it is, but is it Sarah-Jane, just feels like the sort of thing she would say? :)

Even as I type this I know it's wrong... but can't help but feel that would be the type of thing Adam Mitchell would have said to Rose when explaining his life... could go check... but as I know it to be wrong :p

(One of these days the quote is going to be NuWho and I might get it :p Until then I'll randomly stab in the dark!! :D )

It's not John Lumic is it? He says something about it being a new age, the age of steel, or something similiar I recall?

Edit: Actually I'm fairly sure it's not that :p

I'm gonna have one more guess and ask if it's from Invasion Of The Dinosaurs, maybe Whitaker/Yates/Grover may have said it if so.

If it isn't, any chance of some clues....??????

    :D
