Eastenders - 24/7/08 - Food For Thought - Episode Discussion

Max is arranging his meal with Tanya for 1.30pm, while Tanya reminds him that their meeting is about the kids, nothing else. As he leaves, he makes a call on his mobile, before telling Jack not to be late. Tanya rushes to the restaurant, only to find that Max isn't there yet. When he enters, however, he has a special guest will him - Ronnie!

Meanwhile, Ian's working away on his plans to host the party at the café. Ian's supervising Masood, while Jane has the job of decorating. When Bianca arrives at work, Jane snaps at her, but Bianca snipes back and criticises the décor. Bianca, however, drops herself in it when she announces that she studied art at college. Ian's plans are slowly coming together, but when he visits the café, Jane panics that he'll find out Bianca's helping. Lucy, meanwhile, is having a hard time with Christian's laundry. Wondering why the café is shut, Lucy realises that there's an event on and proceeds to invite Dawn and Jase to Ian's function…

Ian pops across to the Masoods' to check how the cooking is going and begins to suspect Masood's 'expertise'. As Bianca finished the décor in the café, Jane walks in an is amazed at the transformation. Christian, meanwhile, informs Jane that some of the market boys think they've been invited. As the party gets underway, Masood and Zainab are pleased to hear that their food is going down a storm. When Dawn arrives with Jase, Ian immediately tells them that they're not invited and Christian discovers that it's Lucy who's behind the mystery invites and sets down some ground rules.

Elsewhere, Zainab worries about the family's money situation; Bradley's annoyed by the state Clare's left Dot's house in; Dawn tries to persuade Jase to go to a wedding fair; Darren's mission to grow facial hair isn't quite going to plan; Ricky's unhappy when he discovers that Bianca and the kids are going away without him; Jase tells Dawn he has some work to do; and the Masoods decide to go it alone with their new catering business.
