as BBC services are no longer going to be ´simple´ to get in SPAIN can i have a refund the SIX MONTHS of the year that i am in spain ??
´´The overspill of the BBC’s services will be reduced so viewers outside the UK will find it even harder to receive them. I know that this causes unhappiness to some of you living outside the UK. However, it is entirely appropriate because the BBC domestic services are for people living in the UK only.´´ Alix Pryde (122,000 pounds) 841 tv licences

ok great but why should i pay the UK government, when i could use that money to pay a private company in spain who can offer me IPTV ...https://www.facebook.com/groups/176000552595585/

IT ALSO APPEARS THAT ´´TV LICENCING´´ IS GEO-LOCKED OUTSIDE THE UK ´´ - WHY ???

Why should you get a refund because you choose to live abroad for six months of the year? Do get real. The entire country's institutions are not there to serve you and your needs alone.

What exactly was the point of the long list of executive salaries?

Especially as it is considerably out of date and several of the individuals are no longer with the BBC.

So you are complaining about not being able to receive UK TV outside of the UK?

Since our TV Licencing only applies to the UK, why would you expect to have access to the website out of the UK? When it wouldn't be of use to most people outside of the UK.

no im talking about LEGAL UK RESIDENTS who stay in spain during the winter - its to PAY THE TV LICENCE why would you block access to those who forgot to pay before they left and want to GIVE YOU MONEY - thats just daft...

    Then use a proxy.

Or find some other way to contact TV Licensing.

Or come back to the UK to do it.

Because this forum cannot progress any refund claim

How would your plan work? You'd call the TV license fee people and tell them you will be away from the UK from this date to that? What if your plans change? What if you are called home to deal with an emergecny. What if you use your TV at times when you are supposed to be awayfrom UK address? Would you be honest enough to tell them that and cough up what you owe? I very much doubt it. Why should the rest of us subsidise your 'it's all about me' nonsense?

When you go abroad, just tell Capita you do not need a TVL - you have gone abroad & get a refund of the unused amount, when you return, tell them you NOW need a TVL - & pay for another 6 month - etc etc.
    Easy

Since your outside of the UK at the moment anyway, you aren't required to have UK TV Licence, why does it matter if you wait until you come back to the UK to pay for it.

Can you not use a proxy of some sort to trick the website to think you are accessing it from inside the UK?

Why don't you refuse to pay 50% of ALL UK taxes if you are out of the country for 6 months every year? I mean, why should you pay for the health service? or to have the bins emptied, or the libraries you won't be visiting? or your car tax?

If you retire to Spain you will still get the state pension, won't you? if you can afford 6 months abroad you can EASILY afford the license fee.

Why should the BBC overspill it's services? Why should we make it easy for people outside the UK that don't pay for a TVL to get it?

    - ITS A LOT CHEAPER TO LIVE IN TENERIFE THEN ENGLAND - but your right if all these UK pensioners moved there tax status out of the UK they would save a lot of money ....billions would be taken out of the UK economy in taxs ...good idea - thanx - that would be fair -

For how long though? The broadcasters went after TVCatchup so Filmon will soon be their next target no doubt.

No one is forcing you to be outside of the UK for 6 months of the year, that is your wish to do so.
    It is your problem.

No-one can get onto the TV Licensing website. It's been hacked by Anonymous and at the moment appears to be the target of a DDoS attack.
