BBC iPlayer app not working since Android 4.3

  The app hasn't worked for Android 4.1.2 on my Smart TV box for several months. The BBC cannot cope with supporting Android equipment as well as Windows and Apple based computers. They have got something terribly wrong.

  Just noticed that on my new Nexus but works fine on my Android 4.1.2 on my GS3.
  This is not good enough by BBC or do they not get a new Android versions before release?:mad:

  It states that the android team is three times the size of the iOS one....
  Due to the fragmentation if the android platform.

  I just searched XDA for the APK and it works fine.
  
  Was annoyed it wouldn't work on my news N7 despite working fine on my old N7 that was updated to 4.3

  You need to download another app called 'BBC Media Player' which allows the iPlayer to work. I'm fine on my 2012 Nexus 7 with Android 4.3

  A new version was released yesterday, works fine on my GS3 & Nexus 7.
  
  has added feature that you can now download the item to view later
