Of course it does. Vote to save means Marc won't go. Vote to evict will definitely put him in danger. Same with Sam, she won't go on Friday but a vote to save puts her in a lot of danger.
I fear this would be the only way to save Marc. If Jack didn't leave up against someone as none entity as Simon, no way will he be evicted against Marc. Marc is leaving on Friday unless it's a vote to save.

It does make a difference when there is 3+ up for eviction. Well- mostly. It depends who's up, really. In some cases the same person would leave either way, but a lot of evictions would have been very different if it was switched imo. Housemates like Speidi for example would have been toast in a VTE.
In a head to head (which is rare these days) it makes no difference.

However I think this will be the last series using vote to evict. and good riddance .it clearly causes the producers one big headache. It was Ben frows idea to bring it back and all its done is cause more manipulation than ever and evict the only decent housemate this series . Jade

The difference is, to me anyway, that Jacks family and friends will not be able to block vote to save him. They will have to be pretty sure of themselves to choose his true opposition to cast their votes on, they are all his opposition.
well ofcourse, the winner of BB should be the one who had people voting for them all the way through, who has sustained enough interest to stay in the house .
the one who actually has a strong fanbase, not a finale of radar dodgers and bores which is what we got in the later channel 4 years and last year , no wonder Helen won.
Sorry but you don't change a voting system just to suit the fans like you who wants Marc to stay! Only a vote to win in the last few days or the last week is the norm otherwise it should stay the same. Are Marc fans running scared?
