I thought that Jacob's performance was terrible, but apparently most of you don't agree
I thought he was awful for a part of the song but really good for the rest of the song which makes it a bit difficult to judge. His main problem is control :eek:
I'm surprised to see a Ruth Lorenzo fan think that of a woman whose voice has all the natural power of a six week old kitten's.
Never in a million years does Pia have the reliability of Scott or the range and power of Jacob and in the Save performance Karen showed that she is able to do anything Pia can do and with none of Pia's OTT effort.

Pia is the best singer there in my opinion, not my favourite voice or contestant, but her voice is undeniably incredible as she proved with I'll Stand By You and All By Myself.
I know Scotty is the DS favourite (and probably the American favourite), but he doesn't really do anything for me, though I'm not a big country music fan, which might be why.

She's not a patch on some previous contestants, female and male (probably why she wasn't put through on either of her previous attempts) and she would pale in a sing-off with Jacob who would benefit as much from not showing what he can do each and every time as Pia would from knowing her limitations and not forcing her voice to notes that are above her upper end as they only end up coming out flat and run the risk of doing irreparable damage.
