A particular festive thanks to all who voted this week as it could not have been easy to find the time for ESC songs. The semis are beginning to take shape as another 6 songs qualify. Nice to see that is not only the recent ones qualifying so far.
Just went through the 160 semi final fantasy songs and have to say they are a treat. What a great festive tradition that has endured on this forum over the last few years. It is amazing how some of the acts and songs have grown with us such as Gotye, Wynter Gordon, Eric Amarillo, Sylwia Grzeszczak, Passenger, A Fine Frenzy, LP, Dolcenera. Congrats to all those members who submitted songs I had not heard of before the heats, such a delight to hear new music, some of which I have since purchased.
Here's an incredibly random memory I just had. Remember last year's DMGP were during the interval they had a much hyped, quite random performance from someone from the Backstreet Boys and his mic didn't work for the entire performance! I'll never forget the hysterical shot they had at the end of the front row of the audience who were absolutely covered in streamers from the streamer explosions they had during the performance!
