HI i am thinking of migrating from talk talk to the post office internet and phone calls service.. i have had mix reactions from family and friends some saying if i move i will have to send the talk talk box back, and the post office don't do a tv box, so thanks..me say talk talk will not ask for their box or router back, and i will be able to use the box, via the post office internet service...
can anyone put me straight on this issue please,

Have a read of the T&Cs

    http://www.talktalk.co.uk/legal/terms/talktalk-product-terms.html?utype=nonmember

Section 6 is the relevant bit. It seems from that that if you cancel your subscription before the minimum period has ended they can charge you for the box.

And if you do keep the box it is likely to revert to a bog standard Freeview receiver with the basic YouView options. Any TalkTalk specific functions will likely stop working.

i have been with talk talk over the contract period, 18 months was the deal. i been 20 months, i have not renewed my contract with them. so i assume they take month by month contract now..

and others tell me, they have migrated from talk talk, they have kept the box, gone to a new provider, and the box is as good as ever, watching netflix. etc..
