    I agree, I really like Phil and Shirley and this line from Shirley was a Shirley special. I liked their sparring in the living room Phil saying "Oh yes cos you're the parenting expert" and she came back with "Yes, the expert at losing their kids.." or similar.

    They are great together but EE are going to lose believability for me if they don't show us more scenes telling us why on earth they are together - there are no scenes of them showing a shred of affection for one another. They're either together or they're not :confused:

    agreed. its being dragged out for so long its starting to get annoying. its obvious she's not there for the kids. its going to get even worse with
    phils drug addiction
    they should be doing more stuff with phil's issues with women cos of stella and i believe thats why he cant show affection. shirley isnt cos she thinks she's only there for the kids and to help him. she does sometimes but not as much as i thought she would. she's wanted to be with him for years.

    i did love that scene though. it was hilarious lol
