Just checked online and it's only £390 a week for ALL types of ages... Definately not £500...
The £390 is basic. If you read it properly you will see that agencies can pay up to double that if there are special circumstances. My friend fosters two teenage siblings and is paid nearly £500 a week for EACH of them. She is wonderful with them and has been on masses of courses and this enhances her payments.
No way would he last five minutes teaching, can you imagine him controlling a class of 30?
I hope he finds work, he might not be coming across as too bright but he isn't offensive, covered in tattoos, piercings or swearing his head off. So that's a bonus.

Maybe he could be a primary school teacher? or work in an adult education?
He wouldnt last in a secondary school they'll eat him alive
I'd call it an existence rather than a life. And life is free btw.
I work but don't have a problem with people on benefits...look how cheap their furniture is and where they are living.
Yes, look at their huge televisions and brand name food products! They really are hard done by, sitting on their arses getting pissed everyday whilst we go out to work to pay for them to do just that.
Huge televisions can be picked up for £100....branded food products all the range in bargain shops.
And where does the £100 come from in the first place? I wouldn't mind betting there are all sorts of cash in hand work being done by half of the people on this programme. The Doc Martens are very expensive, he doles out money to his kids..... he is certainly getting enough cash from somewhere.

The cheek of it.
By the way, is that young couple a bit simple??
The bloke is supposed to be a graduate.
his Mum didn't look too pleased.
I do love the uk
Noooooo .... He's a history graduate. . I cannot believe that an educated person could sit there with his hand out and take dole money from his FIL.

And both of them, Rose and her hubby, would be hard pushed to count to seven.
I was thinking the same thing. They seem to be in some sort of surreal world of their own. Is he really a graduate?
I think he would get eaten alive in any teaching job, 30 ankle snappers could be just as bad as 30 hormonal, bitching, teenagers:D
I must say I wondered where the degree came from........ I didn't know the Beano Uni was still running.
