I think signing Khideira would help Ozil immensely, theyre good mates.
Particularly when the source of the story is Talksport who claim the club will agree to the deal today, that said I would say its very likely he will join. We got to the stage with Higuain the stage we were with Sanchez a few days ago with a few offers on the table.
I think it's great that a player like Sanchez WANTS to come to Arsenal. He's an amazing player. I'm surprised Barcelona are letting him go.
Watching La Liga last season, Barca struggled in alot of games. They took Sanchez off the bench on numerous occasions & he changed the game everytime.
Well I'm surprised. Didn't think Arsenal would do business this early.
Debuchy done, Sanchez just needs I's dotting and T's crossed and word is Schneiderlin and Remy are next.
The first two I think might get sown up tomorrow the other two are definitely just rumors, Remi on the face of it would seem the more likely of the two with a release clause and not coming from a club that's already sold half its stars.
We're hearing that Chile forward Alexis Sanchez has now passed his medical at Arsenal and the 25-year-old's switch from Barcelona to the Emirates should be confirmed very soon. Alexis is understood to have agreed a four-year deal and the fee will be around £32million, money that Barca will use to buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool.
Good times
Looks like we could end up with Sanchez + Debuchy + Remy (+ more?). I know Remy sounds underwhelming, but he would get more goals here than he did at QPR hopefully.
Strong links with Sami Khedira too, when Gary Linekar writes about it you know there is some truth in it. Apparently 'pushing' for an Arsenal move as well but im not so sure about that.

Makes sense with the amount of Arsenal players in the Germany squad perhaps. He's into the last year of his contract though so it sounds like he's holding out for a monster pay package.

I always hold off until I see the player the player in the shirt. Remember Hiquain from last year. Medical and all agreed, then fell apart.

BBC reporting that the deal for Sanchez is almost there
Am beginning to think that this might actually happen!!
I dont think so either but its not like we cant afford it.
Great news. Shows our intent. With Debuchy and a quality DM we'll be able to compete IMO.
For Chile he plays up front or just off the front man but I reckon Wenger will play him the left side of the front three of Giroud and Walcott.

I'm in no doubt that he'll want more money, but at the moment that' secondary to a) will Real sell him and b) do Arsenal actually want him?

Final Sanchez fee around £35m, medical later today, not unveiled at kit launch: http://bbc.in/U5fbJd #AFC #FCB #CHI
Garbage. Didn't even have a bid accepted for him. Wenger has gone on record saying it was all in the media and he weren't that interested.
You keep lapping up what John Cross and "in the knows" on twitter feed you though.
£35m? I thought we would pay £30m, if that.
Reading John Cross, what you soon find out is that he isn't in the know and publishes rumors like any other tabloid journalist.
